 QUAIL IN THE SNOW
California Quail are found along the west coast of North America from Baja, Mexico to British Columbia, Canada. They are widely dispersed in Washington State on both sides of the Cascade Mountain Range. I caught up with this covey in Curlew, Washington

EASTFACE BAMBER MOUNTAIN
Bamber Mountain in northwestern Ferry County, Washington State, is one of the prominent landmarks near the confluence of the Kettle River and Toroda Creek. This layered basalt mountain reaches up to 4,980 foot above sea level, or 3,000 above the valley floor. Seen here on a late January afternoon.

TONATA PRECIPICE
On the southern side of the Kettle River near the confluence with Tonata Creek the Tonata Precipice rises. It's central landmass is this rock face towering a thousand vertical feet over the valley below
